Ray Dorsey, MD, MBA
Dr. Ray Dorsey is a neurologist, researcher, and public health advocate working to end Parkinson’s disease by addressing its root causes- especially toxic environmental exposures. He is the co-author of The Parkinson’s Plan and Ending Parkinson’s Disease, and serves as a Professor of Neurology at the University of Rochester.
One of the world’s most widely read, cited, and followed neurologists, Dr. Dorsey has spent his career exposing the environmental drivers of neurological disease- and advancing a vision for a future where conditions like Parkinson’s are rare, not inevitable. The White House recognized him as a “Champion for Change” for his groundbreaking work on Parkinson’s disease.

He has testified before Congress, advised the World Health Organization, and leads pioneering research at the intersection of environment and neurodegeneration. His work highlights the growing evidence behind the Parkinson’s pandemic, linking the disease to chemicals commonly found in our environment from dry cleaning facilities to golf courses. He is also the founding director of the Center for Brain & Environment at Atria Health and Research Institute, where he is working to uncover and eliminate the environmental contributors to Parkinson’s, ALS, Alzheimer’s, autism, cancer and other chronic diseases.
